The Bodega is specially opening it’s doors this Sunday for a Caribbean summer sizzler. Headlined by soulful man of the moment ADY SULEIMAN plus two local support acts as well as a Jamaican BBQ & DJs spinning some Reggae between sets, don a Rasta tam beanie & head on down.
ESTHER VAN LEUVEN
ESTHER VAN LEUVEN is the first confirmed support act.Her flawless, fragility-laden vocals soar above melodic guitar, contrasted by heavy beats that combine for something totally indulgent. ADY SULEIMAN
Headlining his first ever hometown show we have Notts’ reigining Prince of Soul ADY SULEIMAN. An effortless blues vocal, wry and clever lyrics and fantastic cheekbones – yup, Ady ticks all the boxes needed to be a future superstar. If his performances at Dot to Dot & Waterfront were anything to go by, you can expect one helluva set from this lad. See his Future Session HERE for just a smidgen of his talent.

If you’re not jamming with Ady at The Bodega this Sunday, then you should definitely be at The Acoustic Rooms Summer Showcase. They’re getting that Summer feelin’ down at the ol’ Rescue Rooms, so to satisfy their cravings they are going all out with a local music extravaganza that’s all for FREE! Not only will there be a gourmet selection of amazing Nottingham acts, but there’ll also be a delicious BBQ, summer teapots, stalls from local businesses, a charity bake sale and even a karaoke party to round the night off.
