Five gigs in one day, spandex, plus jangly Indie goodness. COMING UP. x

SATURDAY

So, ya know how a single launch tends to be a big deal, yeah? Most artists might play a launch show for it. Push it heavy on socials etc. Pop-Rockers BUENOS TREEHOUSE, who are just about to launch their next single ‘Low‘ (not a Flo Rida cover), are playing five shows in one day to celebrate the launch.

FIVE.

Legging it between COW, Jam Cafe, The Angel, The Bodega and Rough Trade – and playing 30 mins at each one. There’s probs some Notts record that they’re close to breaking here. Either way – mega respect to them – and GEORGE GADD, who is playing a support slot at all five shows too. I’m tired just writing about it. Good luck fellas.

Multiple Venues. Starting at COW.

SATURDAY

Two stages of goodness, featuring spandex, Psych-Rock, plus plenty of Acoustic awesomeness. At The Maze this Saturday, ya can see the Alt-Rock bad-asses that are CALL AFTER MIDNIGHT, the err… rather witty (listen to the lyrics) acoustic vibes of DATHAN HORRIDGE, plus the Folk-y Pop-y swishness of CAMERON SINCLAIR HARRIS. There’s also the Pop brilliance of TILLY GREENTREE, the blow-your-face off guitars of CLONK!, some heart-warming (and melting) Folk from TORI SHEARD, plus… well, spandex-clad Glam-Rock euphoria from THE DANDYLIONS.

Not bad for four squid is it?

SUNDAY

The Jangly-Indie-Pop experts YOUTH HOTEL are back at Rough Trade this Sunday, and they’re bringing two banging guitar bands w/ em too. If you’re unfamiliar with YH, they make that super catchy, uplifting Indie that has ya humming guitar melodies till approx 330pm three days later. So good. Pair that with bags of Indie swag (and plenty of interesting trousers), and you’ve got a good idea of what to expect.

Up first on support we have the raucous Punk of KYNCH. A three-piece that have played over 100 gigs since forming in March 2015, and continue to bring all the energy ya need to detox your bad week at work. Following – we have Pop-Punk ninjas DISTANT BLUE. Super catchy, super vibey, DB are alllll over the sick live show. If ya haven’t done a Pop-Punk jump-mosh in a while, get practicing whilst you can.
