Falling on the third week of every month, Unplugged at Pepper Rocks returns this Tuesday to cater for your Notts musical cravings.
Formed from the minds of Ty Healy & Dan Rattomatic, GREEN RATT are an electronic duo to set off the night’s vibes. With Ratty on the decks and Ty on the mic, no doubt this will be a banging DJ/Mic set that will leave your head spinning like the decks.
A double whammy of talent next. You’ll probably recognise Matt’s name from one of his various side projects and for Unplugged he’s teaming up with one of his favourite collaborators Reggimental for some delicious Hip-Hop Soul. Expect some urban grit, vocals as smooth as a baby’s bum and songs you’ll want to hear ten times over.
On of our FSN finalists TASHA DEAN is next, an act sure to win you over with her impeccable Soulful style. Pop-filled R&B with touches of Soul, this tiny lady fills the room with gutsy vocals and funky vibes. Check out her out in action HERE if you don’t believe us.
One helluva Notts supergroup next. Four incredible established solo acts are teaming up to bring you…L.A.D.S, made up of ASHMORE, ELJAY, GLOCKZ & BLUBUK, all backed by Beatbox extraordinaire MOTORMOUF and musical maverick LANCE HUME. All these great acts in one set? Sign me up.
A girl THE ELEMENTZ introduced us to on our producer special Podcast (which you can listen to HERE), FIRENZA will be opening the night in style. Smooth ‘n’ sweet R&B vocals which sounds insanely good over beatboxer Echo, FIRENZA brings a twist to her music, mixing sounds to create something dynamic & fresh. Our boss hailed Temptress one of the best debuts he’s ever heard from a Notts artist!

Start your Bank Holiday weekend this Saturday and head on over to Notts Contemporary for an evening with THE GOLDEN TROUBADOURS. Kick back, relax and enjoy the prospect of an extra long weekend!
Let your mind wander away to the dreamlike sounds of THE GOLDEN TROUBADOURS. With soulful songs made up of layered atmospheric guitars, melodic bass lines and the soaring vocals of Matthew Taylor, THE GOLDEN TROUBADOURS take bits from flamenco, folk, soul and blues and turn into one beautiful Folk-Soul package. The addition of a cellist for this performance will surely make it too good to miss.
