FRIDAY
The super ear-pleasing sounds of ALICE ROBBINS are taking over Rough Trade this Friday, as she’s about to launch her debut EP ‘Lavender Honey’ to the world. Delicate vocals, beautiful lyrics, and an almost soothing spectrum of guitar sounds, we reckon ‘ear-pleasing’ really is the best way to describe Alice’s sound. And now – ya have an entire EP of it to please said ears.
Supporting is… her musical partner in crime, JIMI MACK, who ya may have seen collaborate with her in BLACK MUSTARD. Though this time – he’s doing his own ting, and that ting is lovely, stoic Folk sounds.
Also supporting is Felix MB from Derby.

CINEMA GOLD are a relatively new band, made up of three v talented Notts music humans, who make, in their own words ‘cosmic, pastoral, trippy and seductive’ music. Lots of pretty sounds in the form of synths, guitars and electronic bits that come together to make something a bit Tame Impala-y, but still very distinctive. They’re taking over The Chameleon this Friday.
Also supporting are Emzae and The Honeymoon Suite from Derby.

FRIDAY
Four bands. One of the The Maze’s last gigs. Four quid. This Friday – you have the chance to witness the blissful Rock and Roll of LOIS, the BIG Indie sounds of BLUE VULTURE, some Grunge-y, but with a tiny bit of Indie sprinkling sounds of HELLEBORE, and the pure attack (in a good way) of INTERPLANETARY TRASH TALK.
Oh, and ‘possibly one more band’. Ooh, mystery.
