Loads of musicians, loads of banging lineups, plus we say goodbye to a legendary venue. x
THURSDAY
TOLFest19 returns this week – bringing a bunch of buzzing music and arts events to the city and shire. One of the highlights is their BBC Introducing collaboration – this year at Metronome – there’s a bunch of the best new artists that Inspire Youth Arts have been working with – and it’s just four squid a ticket. The lineup features everything from the Piano-Pop goodness of ALFIE SHARP, through to the diverse cross-genre fusion from the infamous CRS studios in St Anns.
Full lineup HERE. Gonna be well good.

FRIDAY
The band that have self-proclaimed themselves as ‘making pop music great again’, AMULET, are back with another… well, monster of a pop single. This time – called ‘America’ (not a Razorlight cover). Instead, a kinda Indie-Funk-Fusion, which will be slotted amongst their other funkadelic chunks of joy.
Supporting is the Bluesy guitar magician ninja human JONNY OLLEY. A man that somehow manages to take sexy riffs, lyrics about Emile Heskey, and turn it into a beautiful concoction of awesomeness.
Plus one more support tba. Tasty.
Friday 28th June

SATURDAY
Rising from the ashes of…, well ASHFIELDS – CAMARO are a beast of a Power-Pop unit. Huge choruses. Epic guitar builds. Woah-ohs that would have any arena band jealous. And now – its time for their first headline show. Always a key moment – and considering in their previous form they nearly sold it out – there’s a strong chance this one will. Get your best floral shirt out, prepare your vocal chords – and get on that singalong shit.
Supporting are FADING BLONDE and GRACE LEE. The former – gents who make Indie Rock with a sprinkling of that super catchyness that Notts is on fire with at the minute (can ya buy it from Murat or something)? And then GRACE LEE – a soulful singer-songwriter that will soothe your ears and all surrounding parts of your head that enjoy the sensation of sound. Cool.

PS: This Saturday is also the final ever gig at The Maze. Yes, sad times. But, they’re going out in legendary style, with a beast of a lineup which includes a one off reunion of the incredible ROYAL GALA. As we write this – it’s gone and sold out. So, if ya did get your ticket – prepare for something you’ll probs never forget. Well, depending how much Red Stripe ya drink.
