Big headline shows, a celebration of Pride, plus an excuse to get battered in a field for charity. Lovely stuff. x
MONDAY
TORI SHEARD is taking over The Bodega for her biggest headline show everrr this Monday, and it’s looking well tasty. You’ve obvs got Tori headlining, with her beaut Epic-Pop-Folk. Emotive and resonant, whilst still having a heavy hint of ‘holy shit, she’s on the verge of being a mega-famous popstar’, T-Swift style. Her last big show – an EP launch at Rough Trade – sold out, so get (down) on it like Kool & The Gang (too niche? ok).
Two vibe-providers are on the support. First up OLLY HENSBY who mixes slick guitar lines and some super slick vocals, pairs them with inspo from Jazz, Blues and more, then concocts a beaut little… well, concoction. And it sounds well nice. Also on the lineup are KELSEY AND THE EMBERS – the epic Emo-Pop full of v catchy melodies and K’s belter of a voice.

WEDNESDAY
This weekend it’s the joyous Nottingham Pride – and to celebrate there is loads going off all over NG. One of the highlights is this Wednesday – ‘Lyric Pride’ – at Rough Trade. Headlined by TASH BIRD – who’ll be bringing her super charming, charismatic, and… well, fun vibes to the RT stage. Supported by FRANX who brings Acoustic Folk mixed with ‘Queer Electro, Punk, Funk & Soul”. Which lets face it, sounds amazing. And it’s free – so gerronit.
