First up SAINT RAYMOND support RAE MORRIS at RESCUE ROOMS Saturday 3rd March. SAINT RAYMOND is a Nottingham solo act, just a man with a guitar. Having played Glastonbudget and many other gigs in the city over the last year, SAINT RAYMOND is one to watch out for. Hear him in session on the brand new PODDINGHAM.

Friday 2nd March 2012; AUDACIOUS FACE & I’M NOT FROM LONDON PRESENTS…KERBLAMMO! at THE MAZE, featuring THE BARNUM RESERVE, ULYSSES STORM, REBEL SOUL COLLECTIVE, BOOTS BOOKLOVERS, PATTERNS IN STATIC and a shitload of other bandy goodness going on upstairs.
BOOTS BOOKLOVERS are a five piece who’ve nailed gigs all over Nottingham over the past year or so, Boots booklovers have got it going on. ELVIS COSTELLO fans rejoice. Check their Future Session HERE.
THE BARNUM RESERVE, ‘Dark and theatrical power ballads’ mixed up with screaming vocals turns out to actually fit perfectly together! This Nottingham 3 piece have big things on the horizon as their brand EP spreads the word of TBR across the world. They’ve also recorded one of the best video’s we’ve ever seen from a Nottingham artist, check out ‘Broken Window’ HERE.
ULYSSES STORM will provide screaming to accompany the loud rock music they play…one to look out for.
REBEL SOUL COLLECTIVE are an upbeat electro/dance/rock-out-with-your cock-out band filled with big personality which comes through in the music and PRIMAL SCREAM-esque vibes come from this lot. Check em out on the current New Music Podcast HERE.
In the second room Nottingham’s rock & roll and boogie blues band OLD BASFORD. OLD BASFORD play their mixure of upbeat rocky songs and lazy sounding ‘sweet home alabama’ esque tracks. OLD BASFORD have been rocking the show for quite a few years now, you can definitely be fooled into thinking OLD BASFORD were a folky american band by the style and sound of the vocals. All is good and the trio capture about 4 different genres of music when they play, so go look out for them! Also performing upstairs are EMILY MARTIN, ALI BONSAI, JOEL SAKARULA, TWISTED KITE and G & THE JCs.
Yours in Love of New Music,
Tom Hadfield and Kat Robbins
