Start your week off at Pepper Rocks this Tuesday, where Unplugged brings us a showcase of new talent from Nottingham.
Opening the night is ANDY DRUMMOND the lead man from the Alternative Punk Rock band FONTAYNES. ANDY will be warming the crowd up in true 1950’s Rock ‘n‘ Roll fashion as he hits the stage.
ESTHER VAN LEUVEN one of our recent Future Session artists is a talented songstress with beautiful Folky vocals, harmonies and sublime writing ability, ESTHER is sure to silence crowds as soon as her voice hits the microphone. To hear how check out her Future Session HERE
Headlining is NADIA LATOYA with her hypnotising soulful vocals, clever lyrics and catchy R’n’B/Soul infused songs. It is no wonder why she has recently been snapped up to collaborate with RODNEY P and has been singing backing for HARLEIGHBLU, NADIA definitely one to watch this year.
Also performing at the event is the talented PATRICK CANNON and Kezia.

This Friday get yourselves down to Can’t Stop Won’t Stop at the Lace House, where a whole host of local lyrical masters show Big Daddy Kane just how Notts rolls.
KARIZMA is an incredibly charismatic MC – Lyrical master, renowned freestyler and a true legend on the local Notts Hip-Hop scene. After the success of his mix tape ‘10/10’ mixed and mastered by his production Comrades THE ELEMENTZ, he has performed alongside artists such as Ghostface Killah, De La Soul, Public Enemy and Plan B. CAPPO is a wordsmith of lyrics, with bags of energy and catchy tunes.
Described as having potent wordplay with a ‘reputation that precedes him’ it is easy to see why renowned Notts Hip-Hop legend STYLY CEE wanted to mentor him and create some awesome tunes alongside this talented MC. Check him out HERE

STYLY has always stayed true to his Notts roots keeping one Adidas clad foot firmly in the Hip-Hop underground scene and has been celebrated as one of the UK’s premier Hip-Hop producers, with releases licensed for various compilations and even Xbox video games! This Saturday get on down to The Maze to join in the big celebration as Acoustickle turns four years old and in true style has a great line up of live acts for the occasion.
MO MORRIS, a country singer songwriter will be accompanied by THE STRUGGLING STRING BAND and will enlighten audiences with his Country Rock vocals and story telling within his songs. MO MORRIS will be a fantastic opener, kick starting off Acoustickle’ s birthday party with upbeat party country-western flavour.
BEN HIBBERT with his beautiful lyrics, skilful guitar playing and effortless soul piercing vocals, seeing him live is definitely a sit up straight and goose bump moment. All BEN needs is, his humble self, his guitar and epic soulful voice to capture an audience’s attention. It is that simple, see him live and you’ll understand.
The Nottingham headliner is JOY MUMFORD; her sound can only be described as a wonderful combination of Soul and Folk welded together in harmony. JOY MUMFORD is a current student at The Academy Of Contemporary Music and as a fellow graduate myself, I can only imagine what she’ll bring to the table after she has graduated, and she is definitely one to watch.
Also performing on the night are two other talented acts Ed koral and Faye Houston. This is going to be a great Acoustickle birthday party to remember, so get your tickets while you can.
