GIG ONE
The moment we at Nusic have been waiting for a long time has finally come; HARLEIGHBLU’s album launch is happening this FRIDAY at the Nottingham Contemporary.
If BBC legend MistaJam is calling someone ‘the new queen of hip hop’, you can bet your bottom dollar she’s sure to be something special. Possessing as much talent as she does attitude, HARLEIGHBLU is an electric performer with more soul than the bottom of Shaquille O’Neal’s trainers. You can check out her exclusive NUSIC PRESENTS SESSION to discover just how special this Notts bread superstar really is here.
Also on the bill is the equally soulful Notts stalwart ADY SULEIMAN, a man so smooth his voice is like moisturizer for the mind. This young performer has had one hell of a year gracing punters up and down the country, as well as bagging plenty of national radio airplay. You can see just why in our NUSIC FUTURE SESSION he did with us late last year here.

GIG TWO
Another massive gig at the Nottingham Contemporary on Saturday, this featuring a lady who has established herself on the national music scene.
NATALIE DUNCAN’s first album was described as ‘one of the greatest debut albums’ of 2012 by the Sunday Times, and this Saturday she’ll be previewing tracks from her highly anticipated 2014 release. If that doesn’t excite, nothing will! With a reputation for live-performance-brilliance and a bewitching voice, she’s sure to leave you in a mesmerized trance for the remainder of the night, and much of the next day to boot!
If that wasn’t enough, just wait till your eardrums are tickled by the wistful, haunting sounds of the first act on the bill, CECILLE GREY. As an established cog in the Nottingham music scene machine, their elusively unique sound will provide a perfect accompaniment to Natalie’s brilliance.
