GIG ONE
This weekend DHP Presents their Ones to Watch 2013 at The Rescue Rooms. Friday night is the official after party to the history making JAKE BUGG’S sold out gig at Rock City and welcomes the warming melodies of BITTER STRINGS, GEORGIE ROSE with full band plus the epic harmonies of ONEGIRLONEBOY.
Saturday features previous Future Session guest ADY SULEIMAN alongside the nimbly plucked guitar strings of JOEL BAKER who we are really feeling at the moment, been trying to get him in for a session but work won’t give him the time off! And that’s not all, joining them both is ROB GREEN showcasing tracks off his recent four track EP and SAINT RAYMOND who with rumours of his own debut EP on the horizon is not one to miss.
If that wasn’t enough, it’s all free!

GIG TWO
Get yourself down to The Chameleon Art Cafe this Saturday night where KAGOULE will be celebrating the launch of their debut single ‘Monarchy / Mudhole’. With their “visceral noise that effortlessly morphs into fuzz laden riffs and glassy guitar chimes carried along by relentlessly pounding drums” it’s no wonder that KAGOULE have already received airplay from Radio 1 and Xfm. With all this already achieved we have no doubt 2013 will be massive for KAGOULE, an incredible band with a massive future, NO DOUBT.
Also on the line up are WHITE FINGER a home grown trash punk band.

GIG THREE
To round off an evening of what’s expected to be a wooping insight (ED – wooping insight??) into How To Get Played On The Radio (our Nusic Academy Workshop), why not ball out to the Jam Cafe this Tuesday?
If you haven’t heard of BAND OF JACKALS, who are without doubt one of Nottingham’s hardest working bands, then be sure to check ’em out. For a preview of what’s to come, view their Future Session with us HERE. Let’s just say, their exuberant rock sounds are a tease!
Armed with an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal, the talented singer-songwriter JOSH KEMP is a natural when it comes to performing. His impelling audience participation technique is perfect in such an intimate and cosy venue like the Jam Cafe.
Also on the bill is a band who is managed by one of our guests from the workshop. Can you guess which one?
