A up comrades!
Even though it’s getting colder every day, there are still plenty of Notts gigs that you can go and get sweaty at!
First up we have MARC REEVES and ELENA HARGREAVES at The Guitar Bar on Tuesday the 18th.
MARC REEVES is one of the most hardest-working musicians in Nottingham and we think he’s awesome! He sings heart-warming lyrics and plays his guitar with such tenderness. I sometimes find myself walking round the room singing his song “Shadows” so listen out for that one!
ELENA HARGREAVES is also very hard-working. She first discovered her talent for singing at church and thank God she did! She’s a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice and an amazing stage presence.
Doors: 7pm
Tickets: £6
Next up we have SOUNDDHISM at The Bodega Social on Saturday the 22nd.
ELIAS DIAMANTIS will be one of the live Notts acts to play at this awesome night. It’s just him, his ukulele and his amazingly soulful voice. I bet you anything you won’t be able to keep still.
DELTA SUN, also on the bill, formed on a random Wednesday in an attic and claim that “Tramp cider envoked some crazy riffs and the rest feels like history!” A folky bluesy soulful outfit you’d be foolish to miss. Check out our future session with them back in our Notts Unsigned days here.
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: £8
Our final gig of the week at Rescue Rooms is on Sunday the 23rd of October featuring the monstrous BABY GODZILLA playing alongside KAPPA GAMMA and the Australian DZ Death Rays.
Slick, indie four piece KAPPA GAMMA will open the evening with their chilled shoe gazing vibe taking influences from The Strokes, The Stone Roses, Bombay Bicycle Club and Jeff Buckley.
BABY GODZILLA fuse mind blowing guitar riffs with powerful punk rock producing a noise that punches you gloriously in the face.
Doors: 7pm.
Tickets: £6 adv.
Yours In Love Of New Music,
Danielle & Tom
