Hello Comrades,
I’m sure you’ll agree last week was mental, and this week we’re carrying on the madness with three awesome Notts gig including another mini-Festival.
First up we have KURT MARTINEZ’s Album Launch ‘The Idiots Guide to Breaking Hearts’ on Thursday (1st) at T8’s Bar in Hucknall.
Making it to the Future Sound of Nottingham finals, this is one electro/pop king who knows how to make an audience go crazy, and we haven’t even mentioned his Top Gun outfit… Oops.
Doors: 8pm
Tickets: £6
Next up, we have an amazing Farmyard line-up for you on Friday (2nd) at Jam Café.
NINA SMITH will be headlining this night, and if you’ve not been fortunate enough to experience her stunning vocals then now’s your chance. Be sure to grab a copy of her amazing new Lonely Hearts Club EP while you’re there.
The soulful EMILY AND THE MARTENS will be supporting, with their acoustic, chilled-out vibes it’ll be a great way to start the gig so make sure you get down early.
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: Free
Finally the Rescue Rooms re-open after a summer refurb, Saturday is looking pretty tasty with a LONG DEAD SIGNAL headlined show, Sunday is looking HHUUUUUGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The annual Macmillan Fest is the biggest yet and my has it grown, featuring about 157 different stages and a gazillion different Nottingham acts this is a chance to catch a huge range of Nottingham talent and help raise funds for a very worthy cause.
