One of our biggest shows of the year! This week’s NEW MUSIC PODCAST announces which musicians have made it to The Future Sound of Nottingham Semi-Finals. With 68 entries from a wide range of genres this was one of the closest Round One’s in FSN history, some extremely talented acts did not make it (see feedback point below).

VOTING – Goes live 11pm Tuesday 28th May 2013 at our Nusic facebook fanpage HERE. The requirement to like the page stops multiple voting, you can unlike after but if you then try and like again (to vote again) it will recognise your being naughty and somewhere in the world an ant will die. TRACK LISTINGS – We don’t print track listings for this podcast till voting has finished.
FEEDBACK – As we are always trying to help you learn we will publish some feedback later in the week/ early next week, one or two of you made some school boy errors which meant your entry did not do you justice. For example one entrant only sent 27 seconds of their track. Oops.
SEMI-FINALISTS – You’ll hear more info direct from us by Thursday evening. We deliberately leave it a few days so as not to crash the voting system and also to reward those who’ve bothered listening to the podcast. We’re quite militant about driving listening to the podcast because that creates a bigger audience for us to play your music to, win-win!
PLEASE – Don’t feel too down if you didn’t make it this year, your progress to the Semi-Final depends on the verdict of four sets of ears, it may be your awesome but your music just didn’t resonate with those particular ears. Please also remember we try our best, we put a lot of effort in to creating this opportunity and then put an independent judging panel in place to make these tricky decisions. NO ONE AT NUSIC votes.
